We provide safety coordination, project planning and trained safety personnel for turn-around, construction, drilling and day-to-day field operations.

Bravo Target Safety is looking for Financial Accountant. As a member of the Finance team, the Financial Accountant will be focused on ensuring that the entire financial accounting cycle is maintained with the highest degree of accuracy and timeliness. The Financial Accountant can expect to receive some fairly hands-on guidance and training but a self-starter with an aptitude for analysis and investigation will be successful in this role.

Job Duties:

  • Maintain the bank reconciliation on a daily basis
  • Ensure all working papers are updated on a monthly basis with appropriate analysis performed on each significant account outlining variances to prior months and to budget
  • Ensuring documentation for transactions including leases, prepaid expenses, capital assets, and accruals is properly maintained and well organized
  • Coordinate with other groups at Bravo Target, including Payroll, Human Resources, and Project Accounting, to ensure that underlying transactions and accruals are correct
  • Support the annual financial statement audit process including preparation of working papers and supporting documentation
  • Support the Forecasting and Budgeting process, providing analysis and ensuring forecast templates are correct
  • Prepare tax remittances as required
  • Proactively identify process and system constraints to improve overall accounting function


  •  Over 5 years relevant work experience in full-cycle accounting
  • University degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or other related field
  •  CPA designation or working towards completion
  •  Working knowledge of GAAP/ASPE
  •  A desire to be successful, to see a project through to the finish line
  •  Practical communication skills – proactively asking for feedback, brainstorming new ideas, and able to provide status updates
  •  Eagerness to learn new skills, processes, and systems
  •  High degree of organization
  •  Strong excel skills is a must, particularly pivot tables, vlookups, and other more complex functions (macros/programming not required)
  • Experience with an ERP system is also required
  • Demonstrate leadership in all aspects of your job
  • Proven track record of exceptional customer service
