We provide safety coordination, project planning and trained safety personnel for turn-around, construction, drilling and day-to-day field operations.

Bravo Target Safety is looking for Emergency Response Technicians to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to begin or advance your career within Bravo Target Safety.

Job Duties:

  • Complying with OH&S in terms of competency, equipment, and training
  • Completing Atmospheric Testing, Plant Sweeps, and First Passes in vessels, tanks, and berms
  • Assisting with Hazard Assessments, Job Auditing, Permitting Compliances
  • Develop and communicate rescue task and specific rescue plans
  • Rig in towers, vessels, and other working at heights tasks with ropes and other rescue equipment
  • Provide solutions from a rescue perspective for high-risk tasks
  • Monitor work site, coach, and mentor safety watch
  • Manage, Maintain, and Inspect Safety Rescue Equipment
  • Ensure Contractors follow permit conditions and best practices
  • Respond to on site emergencies
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be computer proficient with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to work away from home for extended periods of time, work long hours and be able to work both day and night shift
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol testing
  • Proof High angle & confined space rescue practice log
  • OSSA Fall Protection
  • Clean Class 5 Driver’s License
  • Standard First Aid with CPR/AED Level A or C
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
  • H2S Alive
  • NFPA 1006 preferred
  • Achieve and maintain an overall compliance of 100% with our online training system

*Please note, you will be required to attend the following In House Assessment:

  • 40 hours of technical rope rescue
  • 10 hours of advanced CSE Rescue
  • 40 hours of in-house Safety Watch Indoctrination Program. (SWIP is completed online with 4 days of practical demonstration)
  • Attending mandatory quarterly practice (8 hrs. per quarter) to verify competency and skills with all equipment and procedures
