Bravo Target Safety is looking for Advanced Care Paramedics in the Grande Prairie Area. This is an exciting opportunity to begin or advance your career within Bravo Target Safety. (please note applicants must be registered in the province of British Columbia)

Job Duties:

  • Build rapport with on site representatives and staff
  • Complete site specific orientation as required
  • Contact and set-up or update STARS site number, and complete BTS paperwork package
  • Conduct and maintain proper and accurate headcount unless otherwise advised
  • Provide medical standby-by services and medical care when required
  • Review and advise on emergency response plans as it relates to a specific site and scope
  • Conduct site safety tours and pre-job inspections prior to completing hazard assessments
  • Complete daily client and Bravo Target Safety paperwork as required
  • Participate in all Safety Meetings. Review SDS for hazardous materials
  • Rig in and test equipment for emergency medical response based on training, Industry Recommended Practices, company policies, medical protocols and client rules and expectations
  • Complete inventory and perform function tests of medical equipment and supplies
  • Respond to any emergency as per your training and provincial scope of practice
  • Incident reporting and assist in investigations as required
  • Regularly inspect emergency equipment as per training and to manufacturer’s standards
  • Participate in emergency drills as required by Bravo Target Safety and/or the Client
  • Participate in in-house training program on a regular basis
  • Maintain emergency response apparatus as per manufacturer’s recommendations and related standards required
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Be fit for duty daily
  • Comply with all of Bravo Target Safety’s and/or the Clients rules and expectations
  • Proven track record of exceptional customer service
  • Demonstrate leadership in all aspects of your job
  • Must be able to work away from home for extended periods of time, work long hours and be able to work both day and night shifts on site
  • Must be computer proficient with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
  • Must have strong written and communication skills
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Standard First Aid with CPR/AED – Level C
  • H2S Alive Certification
  • One of the following: CSTS/PST/eGSO if obtained prior to January 1, 2019. If you do not have any of these tickets prior to January 1, 2019 you are required to have CSO only through Energy Safety Canada
  • Must be ACP Certified (Must be registered in the province of British Columbia)
  • Class 5 license

Bravo Target Safety is looking for Primary Care Paramedics in the Edmonton, Grande Prairie and Red Deer Areas. This is an exciting opportunity to begin or advance your career within Bravo Target Safety.

Job Duties:

  • Report directly to station manager or medical services manager
  • Complete pre/post-trip inspections on unit/vehicle
  • Drive vehicle to and from location in a safe and courteous manner
  • Park MTC/EMS unit in a safe and accessible location allowing for easy egress opportunity for potential emergency situations
  • Upon arrival on location, introduce yourself to the site supervisor and review details of job and expectations with the site supervisor
  • Complete site-specific orientation as required

Job Duties:

  • Must follow company and client policies and procedures
  • Must adhere to industry practices and fundamental client regulation
  • Must follow emergency response plans
  • Full understanding of specific job operations and equipment
  • Monitoring of emergency planning zones
  • Oversee safe work habits of others
  • Provide and promote safety on-site
  • Conduct drills, rescues, inspections and tests
  • Perform site hazard assessments and meetings on-site
  • Must wear and maintain required personal protective equipment
  • Careful monitoring and watch of potential hazards in the workplace while work is being performed by other employees
  • Maintain conditions and requirements stated on the safety permit
  • Keep flammable materials from ignition sources
  • Stop operations in the presence of hazardous conditions
  • Maintain constant means of communication
  • Keep visual and voice contact with other employees
  • Inspect entire work area and check for potential release of flammable vapors or liquids before and during each shift
  • Safe operation of fire extinguishers, hydrants, fixed monitors and hose carts at anytime
