Bravo Target Safety is currently seeking an Accounting Team Lead for our Lloydminster office. In this role, you will report to our Corporate Controller.

Job Duties:

  • Oversee staff of senior accounting technician, payroll, invoicing, accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Oversee all day to day activities within the department, ensuring efficiency and cohesiveness
  • Oversee internal processes, continuously looking for ways to improve
  • Complete monthly reconciliations for all accounts, adhering to strict deadlines
  • Care and control over equipment additions, disposals, counts and reconciling of fixed assets
  • Assist with information gathering for annual audit
  • Prepare reports as required, able to present to management staff on findings
  • Complete performance evaluations for accounting staff and recommend training required
  • Ensure month end is completed in a specified time frame, analyzing results and providing information as needed

Job Duties:

  • Complete pre/post-trip inspections on unit/vehicle
  • Drive vehicle to and from location in a safe and courteous manner
  • Build rapport with on site representatives and staff
  • Complete site specific orientation as required
  • Contact and set-up or update STARS site number, and complete BTS paperwork package
  • Conduct and maintain proper and accurate headcount unless otherwise advised
  • Provide medical standby-by services and medical care when required
  • Be fit for duty daily and comply with all of Bravo Target Safety’s and/or the Clients rules and expectations
  • Review and advise on emergency response plans as it relates to a specific site and scope
  • Conduct site safety tours and pre-job inspections prior to completing hazard assessments
  • Demonstrate leadership in all aspects of job performance
  • Participate in all Safety Meetings. Review SDS for hazardous materials
  • Rig in and test equipment for emergency medical response based on training, Industry Recommended Practices, company policies, medical protocols and client rules and expectations

  • Respond to any emergency as per your training and provincial scope of practice
  • Incident reporting and assist in investigations as required
  • Regularly inspect emergency equipment as per training and to manufacturer’s standards

Bravo Target Safety is looking for experienced H2S Safety Supervisors in the Grande Prairie area.

Job Duties:

  • Communicate with client representative on day-to-day operation
  • Provide safety support to client representative including any reasonable requests outside normal duties
  • Maintain vehicles, shacks and work areas in clean, tidy and professional condition
  • Provide complete and accurate handover information to relieving Safety Technician
  • Maintain a mature and professional relationship with all personnel in the work area, co-workers and HSE supervisors and managers
  • Assist managers in providing training to less experienced co-workers
  • Ensure training competency goals are met as laid out in “Training and Competencies”
  • Ensure that all pertinent paperwork is completed accurately, neatly and in a timely manner
  • Understand the functions and maintenance of the equipment operating
  • Report and communicate regularly to Central Dispatch on the following critical changes necessary that may directly affect dispatch (Emergency situations; accommodation check out; occurrences on the job site; additional personnel or equipment that may be required; changing locations and departure of locations)
  • Maintain a daily journal of all activities directly related to the job
  • Maintain a light duty kilometer/driver’s log
  • Report all deficiencies to senior staff and/or direct supervisor

Position Requirements:

  • All standard field level tickets (current): H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, CSTS or PST, Confined Space Entry (OSSA preferred)
  • Class 5 Drivers License (unrestricted) with a clean driver abstract.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and pre-access Drug and Alcohol testing
  • Ability to work days or nights
  • Ability to rig in/rig out gas detection and air trailer
  • Conduct H2S drill, man down drill and H2S task-specific safety meetings
  • Conduct equipment maintenance procedures at the field level, gate security, rover and roadblock duties
  • Able to work out of town for long periods of time on short notice
  • Previous H2S Supervisor experience an asset

  • Being fit for duty daily and comply with all of Bravo Target Safety’s and/or the Clients rules and expectations
  • Review and advise on emergency response plans as it relates to a specific site and scope
  • Conduct site safety tours and pre-job inspections prior to completing hazard assessments
  • Demonstrate leadership in all aspects of job performance
  • Participate in all Safety Meetings. Review SDS for hazardous materials
  • Rig in and test equipment for emergency fire response based on training, Industry Recommended Practices, company policies and client rules and expectations
  • Rig in and test equipment for emergency hazmat decontamination based on training, Industry Recommended Practices, company policies and client rules and expectations
  • When High Hazard operations are in effect, firefighters shall don PPE appropriate to the hazard present and remain alert to the situation
  • Respond to any emergency as per your training, utilizing the Priorities for Incident Response and Risk Management Policy for Incident Response for Emergency Fire Response
  • Incident reporting and assist in investigations as required
  • Regularly inspect emergency equipment as per training and to manufacturer’s standards
  • Participate in emergency drills as required by Bravo Target Safety and/or the Client
  • Participate in in-house training program on a regular basis
  • Maintain emergency response apparatus as per manufacturer’s recommendations and related standards require (annual hose testing, regular maintenance on trucks, units kept clean and ready for emergency response if needed….)

Requirements:

  • Must have NFPA 1001 (Part I & II) or full NFPA
  • Standard Oil Field Tickets (H2S Alive, CSTS or PST, and Standard First Aid with CPR)
  • Completion of Bravo Target Safety TDG and WHMIS
  • Valid Class 5 Operator’s license, with clean abstract (Minimum)
  • Class 3 license – with Q endorsement for air brakes (Recommended)
  • Must have strong written and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol screening (company paid)
  • Firefighting experience is a must
