Bravo Target Safety is looking for a Field Sales Representative with the passion and energy to build relationships with new and existing customers to join our team in South Central Alberta.

Requirements:

  • Able to travel extensively throughout entire assigned area to promote and sell Bravo Target Safety services
  • Minimum 5 years of Upstream Oil & Gas related sales experience
  • Must have strong organizational, time management, communication and relationship building skills
  • Ability to function effectively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of mid and downstream safety an asset
  • Clean Class 5 Drivers license
  • Valid PST (Petroleum Safety Training) certification

Job Duties:

  • Comply with Bravo Target Safety policies, procedures, corporate mission, vision and values
  • Maintain and develop sales relationships with existing customers, and develop opportunities with new customers
  • Work with management to develop and meet sales and training objectives on an annual basis
  • Follow up with clients post job and share findings with sales and operations team.
  • Populate and share weekly activity reports with sales and operations team
  • Inform sales manager of any new products or services that could potentially build on or grow current revenue streams
  • Prepare and present quotes
  • Perform other duties as assigned

The Field Sales Representative will report directly to the Sales Manager. This is a full-time salary position; working hours and wages will be discussed within the interview. Overtime may be required at certain times of the year.

Job Duties:

  • Complete pre/post-trip inspections on unit/vehicle
  • Drive vehicle to and from location in a safe and courteous manner
  • Build rapport with on site representatives and staff
  • Complete site specific orientation as required
  • Contact and set-up or update STARS site number, and complete BTS paperwork package
  • Conduct and maintain proper and accurate headcount unless otherwise advised
  • Provide medical standby-by services and medical care when required
  • Be fit for duty daily and comply with all of Bravo Target Safety’s and/or the Clients rules and expectations
  • Review and advise on emergency response plans as it relates to a specific site and scope
  • Conduct site safety tours and pre-job inspections prior to completing hazard assessments
  • Demonstrate leadership in all aspects of job performance
  • Participate in all Safety Meetings. Review SDS for hazardous materials
  • Rig in and test equipment for emergency medical response based on training, Industry Recommended Practices, company policies, medical protocols and client rules and expectations
  • Complete inventory and perform function tests of medical equipment and supplies
  • Respond to any emergency as per your training and provincial scope of practice
  • Incident reporting and assist in investigations as required
  • Regularly inspect emergency equipment as per training and to manufacturer’s standards

  • Participate in in-house training program on a regular basis

Job Duties:

  • Being fit for duty daily and comply with all of Bravo Target Safety’s and/or the Clients rules and expectations
  • Review and advise on emergency response plans as it relates to a specific site and scope
  • Conduct site safety tours and pre-job inspections prior to completing hazard assessments
  • Demonstrate leadership in all aspects of job performance
  • Participate in all Safety Meetings. Review SDS for hazardous materials
  • Rig in and test equipment for emergency fire response based on training, Industry Recommended Practices, company policies and client rules and expectations
  • Rig in and test equipment for emergency hazmat decontamination based on training, Industry Recommended Practices, company policies and client rules and expectations
  • When High Hazard operations are in effect, firefighters shall don PPE appropriate to the hazard present and remain alert to the situation
  • Respond to any emergency as per your training, utilizing the Priorities for Incident Response and Risk Management Policy for Incident Response for Emergency Fire Response
  • Incident reporting and assist in investigations as required
  • Regularly inspect emergency equipment as per training and to manufacturer’s standards
  • Participate in emergency drills as required by Bravo Target Safety and/or the Client
  • Participate in in-house training program on a regular basis
  • Maintain emergency response apparatus as per manufacturer’s recommendations and related standards require (annual hose testing, regular maintenance on trucks, units kept clean and ready for emergency response if needed….)

Requirements:

  • Must have NFPA 1001 (Part I & II) or full NFPA
  • Standard Oil Field Tickets (H2S Alive, CSTS or PST, and Standard First Aid with CPR)
  • Completion of Bravo Target Safety TDG and WHMIS
  • Valid Class 5 Operator’s license, with clean abstract (Minimum)
  • Class 3 license – with Q endorsement for air brakes (Recommended)
  • Must have strong written and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol screening (company paid)
  • Firefighting experience is a must
